just a quick update: I finally met my unofficial niece Maya (she’s actually technically my second cousin, but because my cousin is literally like a sister & the fact that I’m an only child, I’m never going to have any nieces & nephews to spoil so I’ve told everyone close to me that their kids have to call me Aunty B) today, she is absolutely the most beautiful little bundle of cuteness I have ever seen. She literally makes me heart melt when you scrunches her face up like an old man & yawns, omg. I just want to nurse her for hours, but I’ll skip on the nappy changing. But Georgia & Kieran (my cousin & her boyfriend) are so good with her, I guess I always knew they would make good parents. They are already planning to have another baby in the next two years, they are crazy but hey more babies for me to spoil + they do make a beautiful baby.

Bad News: My iMac shit itself, & my warranty is out of date. Let’s just have a moment of silence, it’s a sad sad day. It’s happened at such an inconvenient time, because well I’m poor & can’t afford to fix it atm! makes me so sad that’s sitting there sick, thank god I still have my Macbook, just hoping it isn’t an outrageous amount to get it fixed. I’m estimating $300, oh god. If only I had a job, still waiting to hear back about my job - still trying to keep positive!

My family recently bought a new business, a Beautician & Hairdressers in one. That means free waxing, nails, tans, facials, hair cuts/colours, this is a joyous day but to the point. They are currently clearing our all the stuff the previous owners left there & renovating, and they found this gorgeous Victorian gold mirror. It is so gorgeous and nobody wants it! Sounds so absurd to me, so I asked if I could have it & ofcourse they said yes. I am going to make it more my style & paint it white, ofcourse but god it is so lovely. I’ll do a before & after photo because I think it’s going to turn out beautiful but now I have to figure out where to out it. Also, I am kind of nervous about bringing this mirror into my house… I am about to say something that will probably make me sound cray cray but oh well. Maybe I’ve seen too many movies or heard too many ghost stories but I’ve heard that ghosts live/travel in/through mirrors & apparently the store where this mirror is from is haunted. lol, I’m so weird. I think I’ve seen too many episodes of Supernatural.

coloured jeans -

I have been loving coloured jeans for the last few weeks, especially now that it’s winter & it’s finally cold enough to wear jeans. I’ve love pairing my coloured jeans with a neutral coloured top, so it’s casual but still looks put together. I have a pair of wine/maroon coloured jeans that I have been reaching for a lot, it’s by far my favourite colour for winter & every time I wear it I get a lot of compliments. I know this style might not be for some people, but I think it looks great! I don’t think I could ever pull off very bright jeans, like a neon pink or green but I love the more subtle colours. I really envy the girls that can pull off the bright coloured jeans!

I have been a fan of Dulce’s youtube for ages, but recently, actually every day I have been going to her blog - which I use to rarely do. I think she is just a really genuine person, which is a quality I really love & adore in people. I really don’t know anyone who knows Dulce & doesn’t like her. I love her hauls, DIYs, tutorials, reviews, ect, I know alot of people don’t like hauls but I love them, I love shopping & seeing what other people buy. Ofcourse I love her OOTD’s, I really do get inspirations from her outfits, she has such great style. You can find a click through link for her youtube & blog.

This show is definitely my favourite show of the moment, & I only started watching it a few days ago. I was up bored one night, desperately trying to find a show to watch/download, & I had seen a few episodes of this show before & was intrigued. So I downloaded season 1 & watch it all in one night, I do wish the episodes were longer. Now I know I have a few young followers, I definitely would not recommend this show for anyone under the age of 16, or whateves. But if you’ve never heard of this show it’s basically about a London call girl/prostitute, and how she juggles relationships with her work. But if you’re looking for a new TV show to watch, definitely give this one a watch.

m.a.c cosmetics -
I got my first ever M.A.C purchase the other day, & to say I’m in love is an understatement. Actually, I placed my second order a fews day ago of another two lipsticks, already starting a little collection. Can’t believe I hadn’t used M.A.C products until a few days ago, cause I am totally in love. I really want to invest in one of their skin care lines or a Nars (I’m also obsessed with Nars atm). I finally understand what all the hype is about.

Finally, they are mine! I have been lusting over these brushes forever & have been wanting a set of Sigma brushes for even longer! The only thing that was really stopping me from buying me was that Sigma was charging an absolute riot for shipping, $50 just for shipping that’s absurd! So I tried Amazon because I didn’t really feel comfortable getting them from anywhere else, & plus Sigma was selling them through Amazon so why not? Shipping was $30 which is still kind of, blaaah, but it’s better than $50! I’d definitely recommend getting them from Amazon. Now onto the brushes, they are beautiful. The brushes are so luxurious and great quality, you get 4 face brushes & 8 eye brushes.They are such great value for money, I mean 12 brushes for just over $100, well I think it’s amazing value! I also got a Tapered Highlighting Brush, just because I had seen a lot of beauty gurus raving about it for highlighting & contouring. I washed my brushes straight away, I couldn’t wait to use them & they are so lovely! I don’t regret purchasing these at all, I really want to expand my set.

I wish it was real Alexander Wang bag, i would literally be dead right now from pure happiness, but sadly I don’t have $900 just lying around to spend on a handbag. I have loved the Alexander Wang Rocco bag for probably a year, it is my perfect bag, perfect size, both simple & edgy, unf I love it. I actually got this bag off Ebay, for I think around $50, something around that price range. I didn’t even intend on looking for a Wang fake, it just popped up so I took it as fate while looking for a plain brown tote - I’m so weird. It’s actually alot smaller than I thought, I think it’s alot smaller in comparison to the Wang bag, I should have probably checked the measurements before buying it but I still love it. I’ve always been a big bag girl, the bigger, the beter, so this is abit of a change but it’s cute. I am usually against fakes at any other time, but come on I couldn’t  pass it up. I hope I kind of fooled some people into thinking it was real, haha. xoxo

My little mini M.A.C haul. This is actually my first ever M.A.C purchase, mainly because I live in the middle of no where & can’t get my hands on it. The lipsticks are to die for, they are so creamy & taste soo good - which is always important for me! I’m only really wear pink on my lips, & these colours are perfect for my pale skin tone (in my opinion). I actually bought two more tonight, I’m obsessed, I’ll be sure to take photos of my two new lipsticks when they arrive! but you can all try & guess which ones I bought, they are both pretty well known. I haven’t yet tried the Soft Ochre Paint Pot, but I did a swatch & it is so creamy! I’m very excited to try it out.

Hey lovelies, feels like I haven’t done an update in so so long. I have some exciting news, actually two bits of exciting news. First bit of news, my cousin had her baby yesterday morning! She had a gorgeous healthy 6 pound baby girl, Maya Leigh, I’m filled with so much gratitude that she had such a drama free delivery! I can’t wait to meet her & smell her, I love the smell of a new born baby, its like a new car smell. I’m so weird guys, but hopefully I’ll get to meet her this weekend. 

More exciting news, if you follow me on twitter you’ll know that a few weeks ago I applied for a job. I have wanted this job ever since the beginning of last year, and they finally were looking for new employees, 50 of them. So I was really excited, like I might have a chance, until I found out that over 5000 people were applying. Can you imagine my disappointment & the stress! But yesterday, I got an email from human resources telling me that I had made to the next recruitment stage, I literally almost fainted. I have no idea how many people got through to the next stage, I’m hoping I don’t have too much competition. The next stage was that I had a sit a psychometric test, which was so hard! but I got my test results this morning, and I think I did really well (i’d totally employ me) but I still have to wait a few weeks to hear back from human resources. I’ve always believed that good things happen to good people, & I think I really deserve this opportunity, this job would absolutely change my life. anyway guys, please keep your fingers crossed for me. 

I had my first night on the town last night, yes I went out on a monday night. I am never going out on a monday night again, especially in my town. The night started with diner & drinks with a few friends, then I got my first go on the pokies & made $57, my clutch weighed an absolutely ton filled with bloody 57 one dollar coins. it was a lot of fun though, catching up with everyone & having a lot laughs. Funniest thing of the night, let me set up the scene. We decided to go to different bar, & considering it was a bloody monday night there was only one other pub open. It was just me & Jack at this point, because everyone else had work the next morning. So we walk into this bar, it’s absolutely empty, only two barmaids that spoke hardly any english. We walk in and Jack yells, ‘So I hear this is where the party is?!’ they just stared at him like, what… then I said ‘Guess not!’. It was so bloody awkward, hahahaha. You just had to be there guys. I have never drank a drink as fast as I did in that bar, just wanted to get out of there asap. Such a funny, yet lame night at the same time. 

That’s pretty much all I have for you, I’m so excited & happy at where my life is going. Now I’m just going to try & keep positive thoughts about hopefully getting through to the next recruitment stage. It kind of sounds like I’m applying for the army, but I’m not guys just so you don’t get it twisted. Also, I’ve been trying this new thing where every morning just after I wake up I think of 5 things I’m grateful for, I saw a beauty guru raving about how gratitude can change your life & open your eyes - it really has guys I’ve been feeling so happy lately. Like every little thing, I’m just so grateful for especially all of my lovely followers. xoxo
